This website does not use cookies, does not use external analytics or tracking services, and does not embed third-party content (such as fonts, maps or videos from external servers). It provides a contact form for sending enquiries directly to us. For audience measurement we exclusively use software that we operate ourselves on a server in Germany (see section 4). No cookies are set and no data is passed on to third parties.

3. Server log files

When you visit this website, the web server automatically collects information transmitted by your browser:

• truncated IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of access
• page or file requested
• browser type and version, operating system
• referrer URL (the page visited before)

IP addresses are truncated at the moment of logging; complete IP addresses are not stored in the access logs. The raw logs are not merged with other data sources and are deleted automatically after seven days.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the technically sound and secure operation of this website.

4. Audience measurement

To understand how our website is used, we employ the analytics software Matomo. Matomo runs on a server in Germany that we operate ourselves. No data is passed on to third parties and no data is transferred to countries outside the European Union.

The measurement is deliberately configured to be data-minimising:

• No cookies are set.
• Your IP address is truncated before it is stored and can no longer be attributed to a connection afterwards.
• Your browser's "Do Not Track" setting is respected. If it is active, you are not counted.
• There is no merging with other data sources and no profiling.

We record the pages visited, the approximate region of origin, the previously visited page, browser type and screen size. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to shape and improve our services according to demand. Individual records are deleted after six months at the latest; after that, only aggregated statistics without any personal reference are retained.

You may object to being counted at any time. Simply activate the "Do Not Track" function in your browser settings — your visit will then not be counted. Alternatively, an informal message to kontakt@quellcode-und-soehne.de is sufficient; we will then exclude you from the measurement.

5. Contacting us and contact form

If you contact us via the contact form, by e-mail or by phone, we process the data you provide (in particular name, e-mail address, company where applicable, subject and content of the enquiry) exclusively to handle your request. The details from the contact form are transmitted via our hosting provider's web server to our business e-mail inbox. No additional storage in a separate form database takes place.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract or performance of a contract) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing your request, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.
